By joining La Cité des Associations, you gain access to a professional environment that frees you from these heavy and time‑consuming tasks, thanks to an organisation designed to support nonprofits in their day‑to‑day operations.
Because a nonprofit cannot move forward alone. Collaboration is essential: it brings ideas, resources and good practices, and allows stronger projects to emerge. Some funding bodies even require projects carried by multiple organisations.
Being a member of La Cité means joining a living network, meeting other actors, building connections and opening your organisation to new opportunities.
Because joining means becoming an active participant. Becoming part of La Cité des Associations is not “one more structure”. It means becoming a full member of Brussels’ first House of Associations. You can take part in our activities, events, working groups and of course our General Assembly. You may also choose to simply benefit from our services — you decide your level of involvement.
